I've always been an avid reader, and started writing book reviews for the newspaper after joining a book club. The club was fun, but eventually I dropped out so I'd be free to choose the books to review.

Whether a classic or a best seller, I call them as I see them. This might result in a denunciation by an angry fan, but they have a right to their own (even if erroneous) opinion.
